Welcome into my heart...

Tesa Crysler, a native Atlantan living in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband Mick, three dogs, Roscoe, Harley and Lola and three cats, Chloe, Sebastian and Sam. Rachael, her daughter, is pursing a degree in Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of Charleston.

Tesa loves color, lots of color which is reflected in her work. She listens to music to inspire her mood. While dancing around the canvas she paints what her heart feels and sees. Kay Halpern, her high school art teacher, inspires and encourages her to be creative each day. Not having any formal art training, she began studying with some of Georgia and Florida’s most accomplished art teachers.

Many of Tesa’s works are honored in private collections in Atlanta, Los Angles, Charleston, SC, Gainesville and Melbourne, FL and abroad in Belgium and Spain. Tesa's most current work can be seen in the Duluth Gallery, Duluth, GA.

Artist Statement

My work is imaginative/impressionistic with a little abstract thrown in now and then. I predominantly work with acrylic. However, some days I enjoy using other mediums and materials to challenge me and to keep me open to all the possibilities this big world has to offer.

When I start working on a piece, I am always surprised at the final outcome. My work just evolves into a person, place or thing that only my imagination can see. I give thanks to God for giving me sight to see into my heart and the ability to show you what is there.
